Central Oakville

Originally “the other side of the creek” (referring to Sixteen Mile Creek, the site of Oakville’s harbor), where more modest homes were built in the town’s early development than in Old Oakville, this area has been gaining popularity for many years. Now often referred to as the West Harbour area, this very popular district offers walking proximity to the lake, Kerr Village and downtown Oakville.

Housing styles range from lovely heritage homes from the 1860s to bungalows from the 1950s to more recent elegant townhouses and high-end condo buildings.
